Education and qualification:

  • Dissertation thesis and PhD. title, Comenius University in Bratislava, 2005
  • University degree, Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, figural sculpture, 1975-1981
  • Secondary School of Applied Arts in Bratislava, wood carving, 1969-1973
  • Educational course: Accademia di Belle Arti Pietro Vannucci in Perugia, Italy, 1980

Function:

He acted as a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava during 1983-1990. Since 1992 he has been teaching at the Department of the Fine Arts Education at the Faculty of Education, Comenius University in Bratislava

Focus:

He concentrates on sculptural monumental interior and exterior creation and creation of the medals as well as larger works. He shows his works at domestic and foreign art exhibitions organized by artistic associations on a regular basis. Since 1996 he has been attending worldwide medal exhibitions FIDEM. In 2008 and 2010 he presented his works at international biennale of the contemporary medal in Portugal.
